Satellite Hybrid Meeting for the Scientific Community Working in the Field of Type III IFNs (IFN-λ)
The Interferon Lambda 2022 will be held as a satellite hybrid meeting of Cytokines 2022, on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September 2022 at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. The purpose of the Meeting is to promote research on IFN-λs by enhancing interdisciplinary communication and encouraging new collaborations.
Presentations will address topics such as IFN-λ biology, therapy, genetics, as well as the role of IFN-λ in infections, inflammation, hepatic fibrosis and cancer. Submitted abstracts will be considered for short talks (~10min, virtual or in-person) and poster session (in-person, no virtual session). We aim to give multiple opportunities to present short talks for trainees and junior investigators.
Participants of the Interferon Lambda 2022 will be requested to pay an additional fee to attend the satellite meeting in-person or virtually (see Registration page for fees).
Topics:
- IFN-λ biology
- IFN-λ therapy
- genetic association of variants in the IFN-λ region with multiple phenotypes
- inflammation at barrier tissues
- antiviral immunity
- COVID-19
- role in non-viral infections (eg. bacteria, fungi)
- role in adaptive immunity
- IFN-λ interactions with immune cells
- HCV, HBV and hepatic fibrosis
- cancer
The Meeting will be held from 08:00 – 12:30 (HST) on both Saturday and Sunday 24 and 25 September 2022. In-person registration fees include access to scientific sessions, 2 continental breakfasts and 2 coffee breaks. Virtual Registration includes access to the live-streamed Zoom sessions and live discussions. All registered participants will have access to the Meeting Google Drive with recorded Zoom presentations and PDFs of posters.
Abstracts that have been submitted for Cytokines 2022 or ILC4 joint meeting may indicate that they ALSO want to be considered by the Interferon Lambda 2022 Organizing Committee for presentation at the Satellite Meeting.
